Forehead Mode
1. Close the probe cover and choose the forehead mode.
2. Hold the measure button, scan the forehead from one side to the other and then release the button after hearing a beep.Then you can get the reading on the display.
Ear Mode
1. Take off the probe cover.
2. Insert the sensor into the ear canal.
3. Press the measure button until the beep is heard, the temperature reading is shown on LCD display.
Object/Room Mode
The thermometer is also able to check the object/room temperature.
When the thermometer is power off,Press the "mute/unmute" button for 3 seconds until it enter the object/room mode, point the thermometer probe at the center of the object , about 0" to 2"(0-5 cm ) away from the surface or put it in the air(for ambient test), press and release the Measure button in 1 second, the beep is heard, and you can read the value.
